What about money, a power of attorney, and a business in India?
Answer
Sending money out, appointing someone to sign, and starting a business here are three different legal problems. They are often instructed together. They should not be treated as one form.

An NRI instruction is sometimes none of the usual property work. A criminal case, a card application, or a flat that was not delivered still has to be dealt with locally.

Do I need to travel to Kolkata to instruct you?
Not for the first advice. Some affidavits, registrations, and evidence still need you, or a properly drawn power of attorney. We will separate those two lists.
A relative holds my power of attorney and I no longer trust it. What now?
Revocation, a fresh power limited to named acts, and a check on what has already been signed. Bring whatever deed you still have.
Can you handle a parent's estate if the heirs live in different countries?
Yes. The will or the succession certificate, the mutations, and the disagreements between heirs are the usual shape of that brief.
Is this the same as the NRI page on the site?

Which tax questions belong here?
