In brief
GST trouble usually arrives as a notice, a blocked credit, or a registration that was never finished properly. We handle the registration, the ongoing compliance, the reply, and the appeal when the department has already passed an order.

The brief
What clients ask us
Choose a question. The answer sets out the work we actually take in this practice, in plain language.
Answer
Registration is the start of the compliance, not a formality to be rushed. We check whether registration is required, and we file it with the documents the application actually needs.
- Eligibility for registration
- Preparation and filing of the application
- The supporting documents
Can you get a business registered under GST?
Answer

What does ongoing GST advice cover?
Answer
Most disputes begin in a return, a classification, or a credit that was taken without the document to support it. Advice is more useful before that return is filed.
- The Act, the rules, and the notifications as they apply to the business
- Monthly and annual returns
- Classification of goods and services, and the rate
- Eligibility and availment of input tax credit
- E-way bills
- A GST audit or a health check of the existing filings
- The GST effect of a deal the business is about to sign
How do you handle a notice, an audit, or an investigation?
Answer
The reply is drafted from the return and the invoices, not from a standard letter. If the department is already inside the records, we attend that process with you.
- Replies to GST notices
- Appearance in departmental audits and investigations
- Advance rulings and requests for clarification
- Refund claims
- Penalties, including the option of compounding where it is available
- Settlement routes, where the dispute allows one
Will you file and argue an appeal?
Answer
An appeal has a form, a fee, a ground, and a clock. Missing the limitation is the most expensive mistake in this work.
- Appeals against orders of GST authorities
- Hearing before the appellate forums
- Grounds, the form, the fee, and the documents
- Withdrawal of an appeal, where that is the better course
- Condonation of delay, where a delay has to be explained
The path
How a matter moves
01
The notice, read properly
We identify the tax period, the section, and the date by which a reply or an appeal must go.
02
The working papers
Returns, invoices, and credit registers are matched to what the department has alleged.
03
Reply or appeal
The response is filed in the form the forum requires, with the fee and the grounds settled.
04
The hearing
We appear, and we tell you what the order means for credit, refund, or a further appeal.

Questions on this practice
A registration was cancelled. Can that be taken up?
Often yes, by a reply to the cancellation proceeding or by appeal against the order. The reason the portal gives is the place to start.
Input credit has been blocked or denied. Is that an appeal?
It depends on whether there is already an order. A notice still needs a reply. An order needs an appeal, and the limitation runs from the date of that order.
Do you file the monthly returns yourselves?
We assist with preparation and filing, and we advise on the classification and the credit that those returns depend on.
Can a delay in filing the appeal still be explained?
The statute allows a limited window to seek condonation. It is not open-ended. Bring the order as soon as you have it.
Will you act if the business is already under investigation?
Yes. Statements, summons, and the documents called for should be handled with the same care as a reply to a show-cause notice.
